As prepared in Hayes Valley at Absinthe -- the 'Uptown' Manhattan.
- 2 oz Bourbon whiskey (Maker's Mark recommended)
- 1 oz Carpano Antica sweet vermouth
- Dash of Angostura bitters
- Dash of orange bitters
- 3 brandied cherries
- Orange twist for garnish
- Combine the Bourbon, Antica, and bitters in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
- Stir gently 20-30 seconds until cold.
- Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with cherries and orange twist.
