A assertive cocktail, pairing the curious taste of Fernet Branca, with the crispness of Rye Whiskey.
- 2 oz Rye whiskey
- 1/4 ounce Fernet Branca
- 1/4 ounce simple syrup
- 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- Pour Rye, Fernet and simple syrup into a mixing glass.
- Add Angosura dashes, fill glass with ice.
- Stir well for 30 seconds (do not rush the stir, aim for very chilled)
- Strain into a Martini glass.
- Serve up.
