- 1/4 ounce spiced honey syrup
- 1 1/2 ounce rye whiskey
- 1/2 ounce Luxardo maraschino liqueur
- 2 dashes plus 2 drops Angostura bitters
- Orange peel for garnish
- In an ice-filled mixing glass, combine the whiskey, honey syrup, cherry liqueur and bitters.
- Stir with a bar spoon until cold.
- Pour into a double old fashioned glass (with as much ice as you like).
- Garnish with an orange peel.
